What we collect, and why

Enquiries and reservation requests. When you complete a form on this site we collect your name, email address, telephone number where you provide one, and anything you choose to tell us, such as dietary requirements or the occasion. We use it only to answer you and to look after your booking.

Mailing list. If you ask to hear from us, we keep your email address so we can send you occasional news. You can leave at any time using the link in any email we send, or by asking us.

Catering and private dining enquiries. The details you send us about your event, used to prepare a proposal and arrange it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Others who handle your data

Running this site means a small number of trusted companies process data on our behalf. Website hosting and form handling are provided by Netlify. Our email is provided by Google. Table bookings made through the booking panel are handled by TheFork under their own privacy policy, and our map is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and reservation records are kept while they are useful for looking after you as a guest, and then removed. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. Write to info@zaya.london and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page. Please check back from time to time.
